IEE Bowling Outing

We are excited to offer a fun Bowling Outing and dinner at Whitney Center (using your on-campus meal plan) afterwards.

We will meet at the UWL Student Health Center front door facing Badger Street to then walk to the West & Pine bus stop (near Señor Villa) for the 3:30 p.m. number 5 bus. We will ride the bus for 2 minutes and get off at Cass & 5th to walk the rest of the way, about 10 minutes, to Pla-Mor Lanes. We will get there a little earlier than they open (at 4 p.m.) to ensure we get to the lanes and have time to bowl. We will leave the lanes no later than 5:20 p.m. to walk about 10 minutes to the Grand River Station bus stop. We will take the number 5 bus for about 5 minutes and will get off at the UWL Student Health Center stop a little after 5:45 p.m. THIS IS THE LAST BUS TO CAMPUS. IF WE MISS THE BUS IT IS A 30 MINUTE WALK BACK. Please use Google or Apple maps to help when navigating the public bus here in La Crosse if needed.

Transportation: The public bus is free with your UWL student ID. If you do not have your UWL student ID, expect to pay $3 for your bus fare to and from the bowling alley. (The do not give change.)

Cost: Bowling: $2 per person for shoes and $3.50 per game per person. Please bring at least $15-20 for this activity. Food and drinks such as soda are not included so, please plan accordingly if you would like to purchase food and drinks. Website link for more information: https://www.plamorlaneslax.com/ 

Please wear warm clothes as you will be taking the public bus to the off-campus bowling location and make sure you have socks to use in the bowling shoes. We hope to see you there. All are welcome to join! Please sign up here so we can get an accurate headcount.
