Program Curriculum

The online Master's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science-Sport Administration provides an exceptional education experience that focuses on developing students for management positions in sport at the professional, semi-professional, intercollegiate, interscholastic and community level. The program is a 36-credit curriculum comprised of required research courses and core courses. Additionally, six credit hours of elective courses are required. Successful completion of comprehensive written exam in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science is required prior to beginning the internship component.

The following are prerequisites for the Sport Administration program:

  1. Admission into UW-L Graduate Studies
  2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (Sport Management/Administration or Business Administration preferred, but not required)
  3. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is not required for admission.
  4. An overall undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0

The tuition plateau does not apply to students enrolling in graduate credit courses through the  Office of Continuing Education and Extension
