Learning Technology Workshops for Students

We offer Q & A sessions in the evening and on Friday during the semester, which are provided by our student peer mentors, the Technology Leadership Cadre (TLC). All sessions in the calendar below that say TLC are open sessions for students to stop in 23 Wing with any questions related to ePortfolios, academic web pages, Goolge Apps, or Office 2010.

Students: Individual or small group classes are offered as requested during the semester. Just contact Saundra Solum at ssolum@uwlax.edu, 608.785.8799 or stop by 168 Wing to set up an individual/group technology workshop on any of the following supported applications and technologies: creating electronic portfolios (eP in D2L), creating webpages (SharePoint Designer on the Student Academic Web Server (SAWS) or GoogleSites), creating surveys with Qualtrics, Office 2010, Jing and more.

Faculty: Invite a Technology Learning Instructor into your classroom for a one day lesson on various topics to increase technology literacy.
