The public is invited to see what Mississippi Valley Archaeology Center Public Field School participants have been digging into.
An open house featuring ongoing fieldwork and a collection of recovered materials will be from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the Norskedalen Heritage Farm (Skumsrud).
In case of rain, participants will be inside working with the collections. The Norskedalen Heritage Farm (Skumsrud) is located 1/2 mile west of Coon Valley on Highway 14/61.
