Meet the Eagle Guides

Name: Bill

Major/Minor: Archaeology/ Biology

Campus & Community Involvement: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity

Advice for New Students: Don't be afraid to go out and meet people!  The first week is critical to your college experience and you'll make some of your best friends during that time.  Go out and try the different organizations that campus has to offer and meet people.  Also, if you're in the residence halls, keep your door open and say "hi" to everyone that passes by.  You may not stay friends with everyone you meet those first weeks, but it's better to have a larger group of people to choose from.

Favorite Spot on Campus: Cartwright Center.  Due to the overwhelming amount of friends I see on a daily basis and the abundance of places to study and be productive.

Favorite Food: Lou Malantis' Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza

I Wish I Would Have Known.... Before Coming to UW-L: It's okay to be unsure of your major.  High School attempts to give you a good head start, but it's not until you're actually studying the material that you'll probably understand what you're passions are.  College is a time to find yourself and it's never too late to do so.
