Meet the Eagle Guides

Name: Katelyn

Major/Minor: Psychology/ Clinical Youth Care and Spanish

Campus & Community Involvement: Social Justice Task Force, Intramural Flag Football and Soccer, Angell Hall Floor Representative, volunteer at New Horizons, Staff Reporter at The Racquet.

Advice for New Students: In my opinion, the most important thing to do as an incoming student is to get involved with as much as you possibly can.  You don't have to stick to all of them, just find out which ones you like, and stay committed to those.  You'll end up making a lot of friends in the process, and have really fun experiences on the way.

Favorite Spot on Campus: I love going to the bluffs.  Whether it is raining, snowing, or sunny, it never ceases to relax me, and take my mind off the stresses that school can sometimes bring.

Favorite Food: Pesto Cavatappi from Noodles and Company

I Wish I Would Have Known.... Before Coming to UW-L: There are a lot of things I learned when I became a student at UW-L.  I wish I had known how to do my laundry, how to study for a final cumulative exam, or how to live with someone in a residence hall room, but each experience made me stronger and more independent.
