Our Mission:
The Teacher Education Council of State Colleges and Universities (TECSCU) is focused on elevating high quality educator preparation within comprehensive public colleges and universities.
Why become a TECSCU member?
For more than 30 years, TECSCU has provided its members:
- Networking opportunities with educator preparation programs across the country
- Fall and winter conferences for deans, directors, department chairs, and other stakeholders
- Professional development on current and relevant topics in educator preparation
- Occasional publications on relevant education issues
- Direct connections for member institutions to AACTE and AASCU
- Opportunities for deans and directors to enhance their skills in public relations and communications
How does membership work?
Eligibility |
Membership is available to any public college or university having an educator preparation program. |
Voting |
The primary administrator of the school, college or department of education in institution that becomes a member of TECSCU is the TECSCU representative and institutional voting member for the institution. |
Member Discounts |
Institutional membership allows all faculty and staff to participate in professional development, programming, and conferences within TECSCU at the discounted member-rate. |
Membership Fees
TECSCU Annual Institutional Membership | Membership fees are due by July 1 each year |

- Membership dues notices are emailed to member institutions by July 1.
- Payments can be paid online by credit card. (If you need an invoice to pay by check, please contact ex@uwlax.edu.)
- Non-member institutions can become members by paying membership dues for the fiscal year.
