Kwik Trip Integrated Core Program

The Kwik Trip Integrated Core Program (ICP) is a unique learning opportunity sponsored by Kwik Trip. It is designed to enhance students’ understanding of core business functions (Finance, Marketing, and Management), as well as their critical thinking, communications, and professional skill in the context of an interdisciplinary business environment.

UWL Eagle Sales Competition

The UWL Eagle Sales Competition is an annual event hosted by the Marketing department. The sales competition is open to undergraduate business students who are currently enrolled as full-time students.

Sales Team

The Sales Team represents UWL at regional and national collegiate sales competitions, where they compete for prizes and meet prospective employers. The team is supported by the Department of Marketing and gifts from corporate sponsors.

AMA Case Competition

The American Marketing Association chapter at UWL provides young professionals with an engaging platform and countless opportunities to grow in their professional careers and inspire the ever-changing world of marketing. One such opportunity is the AMA Collegiate Case Competition, which is an academic year-long event in which students work on a business challenge submitted by a sponsoring organization.

CBA Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs

For many students, education abroad can provide an incredible life-changing opportunity. The CBA provides students with a unique study-abroad experience of CBA Faculty-Led programs. These programs allow students the opportunity to grow connections with their professors whilst making priceless memories.

Undergraduate Research

Several UWL Marketing students, either in teams or as individual researchers, have won competitive acceptances to local, state, and national undergraduate research conferences. A number of these students have used their research to subsequently gain admissions to competitive graduate programs, and some have even coauthored publications with their marketing faculty research mentors.

Community Based Learning

The Community Engaged Learning (CEL) Program is a classroom-to-community relationship that involves academically-based community engaged courses where student learning takes place in partnership with a community organization/business. The student has course content related reflection and faculty mentorship that enhances student learning while also providing a service to the partnering agency.

Internships

Marketing internships provide an opportunity for students to gain professional job experience by working in an area of marketing, applying theory and concepts to the marketing needs of a cooperating business, government, or civic organization. Internships are a great way to incorporate the Eagle Advantage and identify and articulate your interests, skills, values, and experiences.
