Higher Ed Certificate

Our 9-credit, post-master’s degree graduate certificate in Higher Education Leadership was originally designed to support participants in the Universities of Wisconsin Student Affairs Leadership Academy.
We are pleased to open the certificate to anyone working in higher education who has an earned master’s degree and would like to deepen their knowledge of higher education leadership, but perhaps is not (yet) interested in a doctorate.
Individuals interested in the general certificate, can complete any three 800-level content courses from our doctoral program in Student Affairs Administration & Leadership (SAAL). For those interested in specific topics, we have proposed the four focus areas below:
Leadership and Administration: pick 3 from SAA 810, 820, 825, 840, 875
Curriculum, Policy, and Planning: pick 3 from SAA 805, 820, 865, 870
Assessment and Research: pick 3 from SAA 830, 835, 845, 865
Student Success: pick 3 from SAA 800, 808, 820, 890
