The Physical Education Teaching with Adapted Physical Education (APE) emphasis (MS) is a practitioner oriented program designed for teachers seeking additional expertise in the area of adapted physical education.

Adventure & Outdoor Pursuits emphasis

The Physical Education Teaching with Adventure & Outdoor Pursuits emphasis (MS) allows students to specialize in adventure education facilitation, outdoor leadership, and risk management skills.

*Students can also choose to pursue both emphases (APE and ADV) while attending in person

**Students can also choose a no-emphasis option, however, will still need to take a total of 10 -13 elective credits.
