Get Involved
The UWL School Psychology program maintains a strong focus on community and involvement.
Therefore, the program strongly recommends participation in additional experiences that may be offered throughout the duration of the program. These activities include, but are not limited to:
- attend the Wisconsin School Psychologist Association conferences
- aid in district benchmarking in local schools and communities
- complete psycho-educational assessments and reports on college-age students seeking accommodations in post-secondary schools
- attend immersion "field trips" offered yearly to areas that have impacted the field of school psychology
- attend the National Association for School Psychologists conference in the second year of the program
- attend and complete additional professional development and training opportunities when presented
