Relive the vibrant spirit of the 1970s with the University of Wisconsin La Crosse Screaming Eagles Marching Band as they present “That 70’s Show” at their annual Field Show Revue on November 17. Under the direction of Dr. Tammy Fisher, this year’s performance promises a musical journey that pays homage to classic rock and soul hits, evoking nostalgia and bringing audiences back to the golden era of unforgettable anthems.

The Screaming Eagles Marching Band, known for their energetic shows and innovative choreography, will captivate audiences with arrangements of iconic songs like “In the Street,” “Carry On My Wayward Son,” “Vehicle,” “After the Love Has Gone,” “Frankenstein,” and the legendary “Freebird.” Each piece has been carefully selected to reflect the enduring legacy of 1970s music and has been arranged to showcase the full range of talent within the band.

“This show is about bringing the sounds and energy of the ‘70s to life,” said Dr. Fisher. “The music of this decade was revolutionary, and it’s exciting to bring that spirit to the field in a way that honors its legacy while highlighting our students’ dedication and artistry.”

Attendees can expect a lively performance featuring not only powerful music but also visually striking formations and choreography, enhanced by a dazzling color guard display.
