Terry Micks - Retiring after 27 years working in the Financial Aid Office

Terry Micks, UWL Alum, who has worked in the Financial Aid Office for 27 years, will be retiring in July.

Terry Micks is retiring after 27 years in the Financial Aid Office at UW-La Crosse and over 34 years with the State of Wisconsin. Starting as a classified employee and moving to non-instructional academic staff, Terry has been responsible for federal and private student loans. In her current position as academic staff, she implemented the Maroon to Gray Grant program, helping students with outstanding balances. Her duties also included outreach and communication projects. She especially enjoyed helping students and their families to navigate the financial aid process.
