Advance Care Planning for Students

Making sure your family or friends are notified in case of a health emergency

Did you know that if you are 18 or older and have a health emergency, hospitalization, or accident, your family and friends will not be contacted unless you have filed a "Power of Attorney for Health Care" document and named them as your health care agent?

At this webinar, you will learn about healthcare privacy protections and what paperwork is needed to make sure your family (or people of your choosing) stay informed if something happens to you. You'll also learn about how to inform medical professionals about your wishes for your own care if you are unable to speak for yourself.

Join us--and invite parents, family members, or friends--for this online session to learn more about the advance care planning available to students 18 and over!

Registration is required by Friday, August 2nd.
