Couch Conversations with Dr. Sona Kazemi

Dr. Sona Kazemi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. With a focus on global health justice, decolonial feminist studies, and transnational migration, her research and teaching emphasize the intersections of race, gender, and health. Dr. Kazemi is deeply committed to exploring issues of systemic inequities and fostering critical dialogues around marginalized communities. Her work provides vital insights into global struggles for justice and equity, making her a powerful advocate for change and empowerment.
