Free Speech Week: Faculty & Staff Development

How to have difficult conversations with the Constructive Dialogue Institute

Location: Online/Webinar format – join on your device or at the viewing party in Union 3120 

Objective: The Joint Committee for Civil Discourse (JCCD) will offer a faculty and staff development session focused on navigating difficult conversations. Facilitated by the Constructive Dialogue Institute, this webinar will address skill development for handling controversial topics while emphasizing principles of free speech. Participants will learn strategies under the PSI framework – Prepare, Support, Intervene – to foster constructive dialogue.
