Free Speech Week: Media Literacy with Richard Brown

Wisconsin Watch and a conversation on Media Literacy

2:00 – 3:00 pm: Coffee and Cookies | Welcome/Be in Community | Keynote 

3:15– 4:15 pm: Follow-up Session Focused on Engaging with the Audience (Q&A Conversation) with a Meet and Greet 

Objective: This event will delve into media literacy, exploring how different generations engage with media, its influence on society, and its role in upholding values of free expression. Richard Brown from Wisconsin Watch, a nonpartisan, nonprofit investigative news outlet, will serve as the keynote speaker. Participants will hear stories and think deeply about media consumption and its implications.
