Great Ideas for Teaching Students (GIFTS): Assignments using Generative AI

part of the November 22, 2024 CATL Mini-Conference

Description: During the summer of 2024, many instructors participated in the Science of Learning Institute: Enhancing Student Learning with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Throughout the institute, participants explored various aspects of teaching with AI and created assignments to enhance learning with AI. In this session, attendees will hear from various participants of the institute; they will share GIFTS (great ideas for teaching students) specific to assignments that integrate the use of generative AI.
