Teaching Online and the RSI Requirement

part of the November 22, 2024 CATL Mini-Conference

Description: The US Department of Education and Higher Learning Commission (HLC), UWL's accrediting body, require all online courses to adhere to certain standards for regular and substantive interaction. UWL's Faculty Senate passed a policy in 2023 about expectations for regular and substantive interaction (RSI) to extend to all UWL courses regardless of modality. This event will focus on defining RSI, explain the importance of adhering to RSI standards, and sharing resources to support RSI integration.

Presenters: Megan Litster - CATL Fellow; Marjorie Bazluki - CATL Senior Instructional Designer
