Pluralist Lab @ UWL

Engage in civil discourse

Apply using this link: The Pluralist Lab @ UWL Application

Join us for The Pluralist Lab, an innovative program sponsored by the Menard Center for Civil Liberties and coordinated by staff and faculty across UW-La Crosse departments. Based on the Pluralist Lab protocol developed by the Mercatus Center, this event brings together a small, diverse group of participants to engage in facilitated conversations on controversial topics like crime, immigration, poverty alleviation, and education reform. The focus is not on changing opinions or debating, but on fostering understanding and empathy for differing perspectives. This event aims to build bridges and promote inclusion, authenticity, and curiosity. With only 20 spots available, this opportunity is open to students from UWL, Viterbo, and Western. This event is FREE. Come engage, reflect, and connect with others in a safe, respectful space.
