Psych Hour Series

Tradwives and Childless Cat Ladies: Women’s Identities and Collective Action in an Era of Politicized Motherhood

Psych Hour is a weekly departmental initiative to build community and encourage intellectual curiosity in the Psychology department. At this week’s Psych Hour, Dr. Grace Deason will be discussing research that aligns with her scholarship and courses (Psy 318: Psych of Women). Dr. Deason is an expert in the fields of political psychology and gender. She is also an associate editor for the academic journal Sex Roles and currently teaching a senior seminar on "Psychology of Activism and Social Change". While Psych Hour is geared towards Psychology students and faculty, attendance is open to all members of the UWL community. We hope to see you there! Feel free to bring a friend or colleague!
