Psych Hour Series

Creating Supportive Spaces: How we made Psych Hour a Third Place

Psych Hour is a weekly departmental initiative to build community and encourage intellectual curiosity in the Psychology department. At this week’s Psych Hour, The Psych Ambassadors, who have been facilitating Psych Hour all semester, will be presenting on two topics under the umbrella of how they, as seniors in the major, are building community within the department. One focus will be a discussion of the social media efforts they have made; the second will be a review of the Magerus Challenge that the students have been working on through out the semester to build connections with each other and the community.

While Psych Hour is geared towards Psychology students and faculty, attendance is open to all members of the UWL community. We hope to see you there! Feel free to bring a friend or colleague!
