Second Annual WiSER Conference

Wisconsin Science and Education Research (WiSER) Conference

The 2nd Annual WiSER Conference is an opportunity for undergraduates, graduate students, medical students, postdocs, and Wisconsin higher-ed science faculty to collaborate, network, and participate in career advancement activities. This Wisconsin-wide research conference in natural sciences and biomedical research will highlight the fantastic science being done across our state, while removing the economic barriers that prevent student participation.

The program includes:

  • Keynote address from Dr. Kenneth Poss, Director of Regenerative Biology at Morgridge Institute, Professor of Cell and Regenerative Biology at UW–Madison 
  • Career fair with academic and industry exhibitors
  • Poster sessions for all trainee scientists
  • Oral talks selected from abstracts (faculty and trainees)
  • Awards banquet and meals included in registration
  • Networking, career development, and social activities

  • 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15
