Many employers have programs that will match employee donations to educational institutions. Some match dollar for dollar, while others will donate up to three time your original donation!

Numerous companies also match donations from spouses, retirees and board members. Generally, these institutions must be recognized by the IRS as an organization to which contributions are deductible (subject to any IRS limitations) by donors for Federal Income Tax Purposes. This may include alumni funds, foundations, and associations connected with educational institutions.

Please contact your employer’s HR department to determine if your gift qualifies for a match. If eligible for a match, please make sure that you direct your match to the UWL Silver Eagles.
