PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
You will receive a broad, up-to-date overview of the theory and practice of Phase I (inpatient), Phase II (outpatient), and Phase III (maintenance) cardiac rehabilitation with an emphasis on exercise physiology, pathophysiology, administrative considerations, and patient education. We will take you through the process of setting up or updating a total cardiac rehabilitation program and give you hands-on laboratory experiences with exercise leadership and exercise prescription. This workshop provides ~25 CEUs.
COURSE CONTENT
On Sunday evening, we will kick off the workshop with some optional social activities and lectures. Workshop registration is on Monday at 8:00 a.m. with a complimentary breakfast. The workshop will end at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
