Mission

The Center for Civil Dialogue and Civic Engagement (CDCE) fosters an inclusive campus environment that celebrates campus communities, promotes civic engagement, and cultivates a strong sense of belonging. Through dialogue, workshops, and community-building initiatives, CDCE empowers students, faculty, and staff to engage with diverse perspectives, promote civil discourse, and enhance global awareness. By supporting critical thinking and collaboration, CDCE strengthens the UWL community, ensuring that all members can thrive and contribute to the university's success.

Vision

CDCE envisions a campus where meaningful dialogue and civic engagement foster a culture of belonging, mutual understanding, and collective growth. Through critical thinking, courageous conversations, and inclusive collaboration, we strive to build a more connected and engaged community.
