Purpose Agents of Change
The Civil Rights and Compliance Agents of Change program is designed to empower staff and faculty to be equity champions throughout the recruitment process. The goal of the Agents of Change program is to have staff and faculty across campus who are willing to serve on search committees/panels and have training to interrupt bias. By centering equity throughout the recruitment process Agents of Change can empower others toward inclusive excellence at UWL.
Qualifications
- Dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- At least one year at UWL.
- Some experience on a search committee/panel.
- Willingness to speak up and advocate for change.
- Support from supervisor and colleagues to serve on search committees and panels.
Steps to Become an Agent of Change
- Apply using the below Qualtrics.
- Interview with the Civil Rights and Compliance Advisory Committee.
- Complete all training programs offered by the Office of Civil Rights and Compliance.
