UWL Community Idea Exchange submission process

Beyond the classroom!

The UWL Community Idea Exchange is a database designed to help community groups and UW-La Crosse faculty and staff find collaborative community-engaged learning and research projects for either a classroom of students or a faculty member's personal research.

Community partners can post project ideas on the database by following the submission process below. A faculty member will reach out to you to coordinate which aspects of your idea can be accomplished within a semester-long course. While not every idea will have the potential for a partnership, we look forward to exploring the possibilities.

Faculty members who would like to review the projects submitted to the UWL Community Idea Exchange can find the list HERE.

Step 1:

Become a registered Community Partner with UWL.

(If you have a valid account with Handshake or UGetConnected, or if you have a UWL NetID, you are a registered Community Partner! Go directly to step 2.)

Step 2:

Submit your project opportunity.

Step 3:

Our staff will review your submission for approval.

We will contact you with any questions or concerns. Approved projects will be posted to the UWL Community Idea Exchange.
