Day 1: July 12, 2023

9–9:20 a.m.

Drop-off
Students should be accompanied by a parent or guardian for drop-off at room 100 Cowley Hall.

9:20–9:30 a.m.

Welcome and Organize in Groups
9:40–11:30 a.m.
  • Group 1: Making Bones Speak
  • Group 2: Learning with Nature
  • Group 3: Recording Human Movement
  • Group 4: Investigating the WHY? Behind Eating and Breathing
  • Group 5: Creepy and Crawly Adaptations
11:50–12:30 p.m Lunch
12:40–1:40 p.m. UW-Madison Wonders of Physics

Pick-up
NOTE: Parents/guardians are required to be present to check students out from Hands-On Science. The pick up location is room 100, Cowley Hall. You may park in Lot C-2 for no charge from 3:55–4:15, however, if you stay longer or arrive earlier, you will be expected to pay. The rate is $1/hour and may be paid at the parking kiosk in the C-2 parking lot.
