It is the policy of UWL that software developed by faculty shall be the property of the author unless:

  • the material is prepared under limitations of extramural grants or contracts that explicitly stipulate otherwise;
  • the material is created by a person given an assignment to do so; or the material is prepared under a University agreement that specifically states otherwise.
