FERPA Training
UW System FERPA training is live! However, there are a few details to note regarding the rollout of this training:
- Employees with a job change after September 1, 2024, will automatically be enrolled;
- All remaining employee populations will be enrolled in Spring, 2025, during mandatory training season;
- Student employees not included in enrollments;
- To enroll an employee in the course that isn’t a ‘new hire’, you can send in a ticket to UW Shared Services;
- Student employees may be enrolled using the ticketing system at UW Shared Services;
- Updates to SYS 1293 Mandatory Employee Training forthcoming on FERPA course requirements.
