Well Wisconsin

Well Wisconsin March Resources

Hi Champions,

Hope you are doing well. Here are the resources for the month of March that went out in the ETF Employer News.

Health coaching, Well Wisconsin Radio and Kindness at Work resources are now available for employers participating in the Group Health Insurance Program. Please share with your employees between now and the end of March to ensure they’re up to date with all that Well Wisconsin has to offer.

Health Coaching Reminder

As part of the Well Wisconsin program, incentive-eligible employees have access to WebMD health coaches. Coaching sessions are free, convenient and confidential. It also helps employees earn their $150 Well Wisconsin incentive. One coaching call counts for the health check portion of the program.

Employees can send a secure Coach Connect message at webmdhealth.com/wellwisconsin or call 800-821-6591 to set up a phone session.

Promote health coaching to employees with this handout.

Well Wisconsin Radio Podcast is Live

Well Wisconsin Radio is back in 2022 and better than ever-podcasting! We are excited to share the first episode, released via WebMD email to employees on Tuesday, February 7.  Listen in as host Morgan Meinen interviews Dr. Christine Whelan, clinical professor in the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, about setting goals and finding purpose during times of uncertainty.

Please share the new Well Wisconsin Radio webpage with your employees by adding it to your intranet pages or sharing the handout. Episodes will be released monthly with a few bonus shows along the way. Last year’s episodes are still available.

Employees can be notified when new episodes are available by subscribing through Apple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts or the platform of their choice. While listening to an episode, they’ll hear a code that they can enter in the portal. Entering codes from two episodes earns the well-being activity incentive credit.

Kindness at Work Reminder: Self-Awareness and Self-Love

For the month of March, Random Acts of Kindness encourages everyone to focus on self-awareness and self-love. They say, “Paying attention and giving time to what you love is an act of self-care mixed with awareness and love. We’ve all heard the phrase you can’t pour from an empty cup but are not often provided permission or direction on how to keep our own cups full. This month we encourage you to fill your cup and create a list of things you enjoy. Give yourself permission to do the things that make you happy. Happiness can’t be contained! When someone is self-aware and practices self-love, they can’t help but share their joy with others.”

Employees who participate in at least 21 kindness, self-compassion or well-being activities from the calendar can complete a short survey to receive an employer-sponsored activity code which counts toward their well-being activity incentive credit. Share the Kindness at Work handout and/or quote of the month with your employees.

Kindness Quote of the Month: “If one has courage, nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” —Dr. Maya Angelou
