Experiencing symptoms or believe you have been in close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19?

Here's what to do:

UWL Students

  • Immediately call the COVID hotline – 608.785.8559, option 3 or self-report email: selfreport@uwlax.edu
  • Limit all activity that includes contact with others.
  • Stay in your UWL residence till you receive instructions from the health professionals at the hotline.
  • General questions call 608.785.8559 option 1

NOTE: If you are a UWL Student and have received a positive test result from a health provider other than the UWL Student Health Center, you should still report that information to the COVID hotline – 608.785.8559, option 3 or self-report email: selfreport@uwlax.edu.

UWL Employees

  • Immediately call your health provider and follow their instructions.
  • Limit all activity that includes contact with others.
  • If you are notified that you are COVID positive, notify your UWL supervisor or UWL chair AND call the COVID hotline to report your case – 608.785.8559, option 3, or self-report email: selfreport@uwlax.edu
  • You will work with your county’s health department through the contact investigation.
  • General questions call 608.785.8559 option 1

General Community

  • Immediately call your health provider and follow their instructions.
  • Limit all activity that includes contact with others.
  • Weber Health (at the UWL Cartwright Center) related testing procedures and portal issues, call 608.855.9191.
