Kaitilyn enjoying her time abroad in Australia

Kaitilyn Bestor shares her experience as a female identifying student abroad

In her own words: "As a pre law student, my entire undergraduate experience has been focusing on getting into law school. From the classes I take, to the clubs I am in, I always have to think about what will help me get admitted into my dream school. I thought that studying abroad wouldn't be an option for me, because of the specific classes I am taking and also the cost. After help from the study abroad advisors I found a program that worked for me, and gave me an incredible experience in and out of class. The Australian law school program is much different than ours, and I found myself in classes with 3rd year law students! Although difficult due to the increased demands of the courses and also learning a whole new legal system, I learned so much and my passion for law only deepened. I made so many great connections with my fellow classmates and will remember my experience forever."
