Welcome Alexis Bergstrom
IEE is welcoming our newest International Programs Manager, Alexis Bergstrom! Alexis will primarily be advising students who wish to study abroad with Third-Party providers and Faculty-Led programs.

“I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology. While I was at UWEC, I participated in a faculty-led program where I got to spend a summer in Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Poland. I then went on to get my Masters of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. After graduating with my master’s, I have spent the last 8 years working in Residence Life. I worked at a school in Minnesota before arriving to UWL in January 2022. I currently am enrolled as a doctoral student here at UWL in the Student Affairs Administration and Leadership program. In my personal time, I love to read! I am a big fantasy reader, and I am currently reading through Brandon Sanderson's Cosemere novels. If I am not doing homework, I can also be found playing video games with my husband and our friends. I also have a dog named Obi and a cat named Duey and will gladly share photos of them to anyone who asks. My study abroad program has always been one of the most impactful experiences of my life and I am so excited to help UWL students create similar memories!”
