La Crosse, Wisconsin is located in the Upper Midwest region of the United States. With a population of about 52,000, La Crosse boasts all of the benefits of a mid-size community: arts and entertainment, athletics and recreation, business and industry, state-of the-art health care, and, most importantly, safety. Bike or rollerblade at Riverside Park on the Mississippi River, enjoy the view from Grandad Bluff (180 meters above the city!), hang out with friends at local restaurants and coffee shops, catch a movie at the downtown budget theatre, and shop at the mall or the many boutiques and large department stores.
Experience all four seasons, with daily temperatures ranging from 30°C in summer to -15°C in winter. It will not take you long to see why La Crosse has a reputation for being a friendly, safe, and welcoming community!
