What is a NetID?
UWL NetID is a username to log into most UWL technology services. This can include:
- Campus Wireless Network & Network Authentication
- Canvas
- ITS Computer Labs and Pay-for-Print
- Qualtrics
- WINGS
- Classroom Technology Podiums
- Library Services (Online Databases like Ebscohost and ProQuest)
- And more...
Your NetID is not the same as the email address, but they are very similar because they use the same password to access each system separately. UWL email addresses will follow the format of your NetID with "@uwlax.edu" added at the end and it is hosted in Microsoft Outlook.
Changing a Password
When changing your password, please be sure to follow the password requirements and guidelines. Visit the password reset utility for password-related issues.
