UW-La Crosse Graduate & Extended Learning (GEL) provides customized and scalable solutions for your conference and event needs. Our experienced conference managers and knowledgeable staff work with you to determine your requirements and produce an outstanding experience for your guests. We are adept at coordinating and managing groups of 50–3,000 for one-day meetings and multi-day conferences. GEL provides services at any location including our state-of-the-art La Crosse, Wisconsin campus conference facilities.

About UW-La Crosse

University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s park-like 128-acre campus is nestled between the serene La Crosse River and majestic Grandad’s Bluff in the picturesque Driftless Region of western Wisconsin. The campus is in a residential section of the city, which is a short walk to the mighty Mississippi River and a bustling downtown area.

State-of-the-art facilities:

Year-round meeting space is available including classrooms, general session seating for up to 3,000, summer housing for 2,500 and performance stages.

Campus food service provides excellent refreshment breaks, receptions, banquets, buffets and more. Meals can vary from low-cost cafeteria-style service to formal banquets.

Other available buildings on campus include the Centre for the Arts with theatre and recital hall, planetarium and the Recreation Eagles Center with running track, basketball courts, dance studio, racquetball courts, weight room and tennis courts. UWL also has rock climbing walls and an outdoor ropes course. Three of our campus buildings are LEED* Gold certified:

Our conference staff can arrange for AV equipment, photocopying, Internet access, teleconferencing, and video conferencing, food service, sleeping room blocks. 

About La Crosse, Wisconsin

La Crosse is a community of approximately 50,000 located in western Wisconsin and lies on the Mississippi River, nestled between majestic bluffs. Scenic coulees, woods and streams surround the city making it a favorite stop for boaters and campers in the spring, summer and fall as well as skiers and snowmobilers in the winter. La Crosse is a river town with a historic and thriving downtown area with live music and theatre, shops, award-winning restaurants, breweries and coffee shops.
