Use the form below to request a research consultation appointment with a librarian.
- Research Consultations provide an opportunity to meet with a librarian for in-depth and highly-personalized information research assistance. Meetings are typically 30 to 60 minutes in length.
- Before you complete this form, note that there are several other ways to ask a librarian a question more quickly and easily, no appointment necessary.
- Students doing research for a 100-level class (CST110, ENG110, etc.):
Please consider visiting us at the reference desk in the library instead of requesting a research consultation appointment.

- Once you complete the form, you will hear back from a librarian via email. You will then work with that librarian to schedule your meeting.
- Meetings will be held at the library or online, or in faculty/staff offices.
- This service is offered to UWL students, faculty, staff, and retirees. It is also offered to users of the Federal and Wisconsin government depository library programs.
