Keep up with current news using the many credible sources available through Murphy Library.

To see a comprehensive list of online and print news resources available to UWL or members of the UW-System, visit the Newspapers/News Sources library guide. A few notable, current news resources are: Digital New York Times - funded by UWL's College of Business Administration, anyone at UWL can create an online account and have virtually full access to the digital New York Times. For online, full-image, and searchable content of The New York Times from September 18, 1851 to December 31, 2012, use Historical New York Times (ProQuest). Chronicle of Higher Education - funded by UWL's College of Liberal Studies, anyone at UWL can have complete unrestricted access to all content using the instructions found here. Newspaper Source Plus (EBSCOhost) - includes more than 860 full-text newspapers, providing more than 35 million full-text articles and mNK News NK Proore than 857,000 television and radio news transcripts. In addition, it includes articles from the La Crosse Tribune. Nexis Uni (formerly LexisNexis Academic) -- includes local, regional, national and international newspapers with deep archives, television and radio broadcasts, newswires and blogs. In addition, Murphy Library is evaluating two North Korean news sources, NK News and NK Pro for possible subscription.
