Statista is a tool for researching quantitative data, statistics and related information. It is used by a wide range of businesses involved in a variety of industries as well as academic institutions. Categorized into 21 market sectors with data from more than 10,000 different sources, Statista provides direct access to statistics on a wide range of topics including advertising, health, hospitality, consumer goods, and more.
Data sources include market research reports, such as the Ipsos Affluent Survey published annually by Ipsos Media, Simmons National Consumer Studies, and Consumer Insights from Scarborough Research, as well as trade publications, scientific journals, and government databases. Each statistic includes information about its source, release date, number of respondents, and any other relevant details to facilitate verification of all statistical information.
