Upcoming C.A.L.L. Conference About Libraries & Learning

The third annual C.A.L.L. Conference About Libraries & Learning will take place on the UW-La Crosse campus from 9:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the UWL Student Union, Room 3310. The conference is a collaboration between UW-La Crosse Murphy Library, the School District of La Crosse, and La Crosse Public Library. Librarians from all types of libraries (school, public, academic, special, etc.) are welcome to attend. The theme of this year's conference is Self-Care and the Emotional Labor of Librarianship. The keynote speaker is Sarah Johnson, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has over 25 years' experience working in the prevention, youth development, and counseling fields. She is currently working as Mental Health Director at the La Crosse Area Family YMCA.
