Boszhardt Lecture and Award
Over 100 people attended Tuesday’s lecture by Robert “Ernie” Boszhardt, MVAC’s former Contracts Director. Boszhardt discussed how his understanding of Driftless Area archaeology has changed over the course of his 40-year career. A special addition to the evening was Brad Perkl’s presentation of an award from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in recognition of Ernie’s career-long contributions to the archaeology of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. Perkl is District Archaeologist for the Corps’ St. Paul District.
