New MVAC display in UW-L’s Murphy Library

Stop by and see MVAC’s new display at UW-L’s Murphy Library! The display was designed by graduating senior, McNair scholar, and 2014 Winter Commencement speaker Yolona (Yoli) Ngandali. The first three cases highlight Anthropology, Archaeology, and Heritage Management.  The faculty research case features Dr. Jessi Halligan's excavation at an underwater Paleoindian site in Florida and the student research case displays Yoli's own work on computer applications in archaeology both in 3D modeling of artifacts and spatial analysis of Aboriginal rock art locations in Northwestern Australia.  MVAC is grateful for grant funds from UW-L College of Liberal Studies that helped to support this project.
