Unusual Artifact
Collector Ron Howard brought an interesting example of reworking to the Artifact Show. Not only has this point been reworked at the upper left, a second notch has been carefully added to the right-hand edge. Ron thinks small hinge fractures that interfered with sharpening might have led to repurposing, with the extra notch and left-hand notch used to change the angle of hafting, allowing the upper left edge to work as a knife.
