Projectile Points

Projectile points Kramer or Waubesa point (top), Steuben like point (bottom left), and Late Woodland or Late Archaic corner notched (bottom right) point.  All were recovered from a lithic scatter during surface collection in north central Wisconsin in the early 2000s.  The Kramer or Waubesa point is made of silicified sandstone and is broken slightly at the base.  The Steuben point is made of silicified sandstone and is broken at the tip.  The Late Woodland or Late Archaic corner notched point is made of heat treated Burlington chert.
