Students turn out to vote Posted 10:36 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 Read more about Students turn out to vote UW-L Professor Jodi Vandenberg-Daves celebrated Mother’s Day 2014 with the publication of her book — the first comprehensive history of motherhood in the U.S. A professor of History and Women’s Studies, Vandenberg-Daves wrote “Modern Motherhood: An American History.” The book was released May 19 by Rutgers University Press.

Rotary Lights celebrates 20 years Posted 10:32 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 For 20 years UW-L alumni and students have helped light up La Crosse for the holiday season. This year 28 UW-L groups are volunteering at Rotary Lights, an annual light display at Riverside Park founded by area Rotary clubs. They join 3,000 total volunteers from 110 organizations.
