Beta Gamma Sigma announces inductees

Membership is the highest honor a student in a school of business or management can achieve

Eighteen UWL College of Business Administration students and faculty were inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the national scholastic honor society for students of business and management. Election to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor that a student in a school of business or management can achieve. The students are: Jenna Arts, Kelsey Breunig, Emma Brauer, Abby Christopherson, Nicole Dockendorf, Sydney Emmerich, Paige Forde, Margaret Gorman, Alison Kubeny, Connor Miller, Joseph Morris, Olivia Mueting, Stephanie Olsen, Danielle Semler, Ross Vuich, Jessica Wolf and Sarah Ziolkowski. Kelly Nowicki, associate lecturer of management, received the faculty award as an instructor who exemplifies the values of honor, wisdom and earnestness. David Russell, a partner at Hale, Skemp, Hanson, Skemp & Sleik Law Firm, received the Distinguished Community Member Award. Since 2001, Russell has taught Business Law 418 to UWL senior accounting students. His students appreciate his passion for the free market economy and the rule of law.
