More than 130 high school students from around the state are on campus Sunday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 29, for Business World 2009.
The four-day program brings high school students and business volunteers together to learn about the challenges facing the economy.
Participants are divided into teams of up to 12 who function as an "imaginary" company for the program. With the task of turning the company into a financial success, students create a unique product, develop marketing strategies and design a commercial.
Additionally, students interact with guest speakers, tour local companies and compete in an online business simulation.
