Steppin' Out artwork. Sign up now to join OCW Steppin' Out in Pink team

UW-L's Organization for Campus Women has traditionally formed a team, collected donations and walked the 4.5 mile course for Gundersen Medical Foundation's Steppin' Out in Pink. Steppin' Out in Pink kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, on the Gundersen Lutheran Campus walking trail — between 7th St. and South Avenue — rain or shine. Participants must be on the trail by 10 a.m. and complete the walk by noon.  No dogs, roller blades or runners are allowed on the walk. Anyone may register with the OCW team to show campus support for the event. Proceeds raised primarily fund breast cancer initiatives at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation, but a portion is also dedicated to providing assistance to breast cancer patients in need, subsidizing mammograms for the uninsured or under-insured patients in our region. Here's how to register in advance and/or join the OCW team:
  1. Go to the Steppin' Out in Pink Web page at www.steppinoutinpink.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1099241
